How we treat data
1. What this notice covers
Static codes are meant to stay in your browser rather than on our server, and that is how QR Free online (qr-free.online) is built. Below is the small set of data that can still appear around that setup.
2. Data we touch and data we leave alone
- In-browser generation The payload (links, Wi-Fi, vCards, and the like) is neither sent nor stored. : a static QR is produced entirely in your browser.
- Interface language A language you choose by hand stays in localStorage until you change it again. : it starts from the browser language (uk/en/fr/zh, otherwise English).
- Cookies : analytics cookies and advertising cookies are not used by default.
- Accounts and card payments We do not collect a registration email, and we do not process card payments here. : neither is offered on this site.
- Hosting logs We do not use them for ad profiling. : the host may keep ordinary server logs (IP, User-Agent) for a short time, for security and for stable infrastructure.
3. If you leave for QRcode Global
The continue control leaves this site for qrcode.global. That service publishes a privacy policy of its own.
4. The only uses we have
Interface language comes from the browser or from a choice you make yourself, and that choice stays only on your device. We do not sell personal data, and we do not pass it to outside parties for advertising.
5. Requests you can send
Privacy requests about this site go to hello@qr-free.online.
6. How the connection is protected
Static QR content is not kept on our server, so the risk of that content leaking from our side stays minimal. The connection to the site uses HTTPS.
7. Age
The service is not meant for people under 16.
8. Later wording of this notice
A later version may replace this notice. The text that applies is the one published on this page.
